I've never been to QG but would definitely love to check it out some time - I've heard rave reviews from several people now. Lucky you getting to live in such an amazing area! :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02972760180999765663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7613961279831910723.post-64169281145545342002010-08-23T00:20:45.599-07:002010-08-23T00:20:45.599-07:00Great blog Erin, I enjoy reading it. I am not one to comment-more of a lurker but thought this was funny and had to share with you...I had a hand in the production of that Optima you tried. I had the pleasure of working in the vineyards at Quails Gate in 08' and took part of the harvest that year among other things. It was the last of the varieties to be harvested, they looked like nasty things hanging on the vines and was hard to beleive something so sweet came out of them! My hubby and I actually live on the lake just a few steps from QG, it's a gorgeous spot to visit if you haven't already. Their resturant puts out some fantastic food as well, I highly recomend it!

Angie TAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
